After going ten years without having bought a car ...
After going ten years without having bought a car (and the car I'd bought having been from my grandfather), I was a little nervous to embark on the car-buying experience, particularly in the current market. After doing some searching, I decided that I was interested in an older Subaru, not necessarily my dream car, but just right for my current needs. I found a few possibilities at Beaverton Auto Wholesale and bolstered by the high reviews, I made an appointment with Jordan. After discussing what I was looking for in a vehicle, he pointed me to a 2006 Forester with a couple of small cosmetic defects, but which had recently (but prior to being bought by Beaverton Auto) had the head gasket repair that it seems many older Subarus need after about 100k miles. It seemed like the perfect car for me, and I took the plunge and bought it.<br><br>There were a few mechanical issues that cropped up on a road trip shortly after purchasing the car due to problems with the aforementioned head gasket repair job, but Jordan was incredibly helpful in assisting me with getting repairs. He even offered to go halvsies on paying for the repair, since this repair having already been done prior to my purchasing the vehicle was a big factor in why I chose to purchase this particular vehicle.<br><br>Long story short, purchasing a used car can be a bit of a fraught process and issues unknown to the buyer or seller are a real possibility, but Beaverton Auto Wholesale truly went above and beyond in assisting me through the process. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone looking to buy a used car in the Portland area to work with Beaverton Auto Wholesale!
